AWS Secrets Manager vs Checkov

AWS Secrets Manager is a managed service for securely storing, retrieving, and rotating secrets such as database credentials, API keys, and tokens. It provides automatic rotation, fine-grained access control through IAM, and audit logging via CloudTrail.

Checkov is an open-source static analysis tool by Bridgecrew for scanning infrastructure-as-code files for security misconfigurations. It supports Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Helm, ARM templates, and Dockerfiles.
