Adobe XD vs Balsamiq

Adobe XD was a vector-based UI/UX design tool developed by Adobe Inc. for designing and prototyping user experiences for web and mobile applications. Adobe discontinued XD in 2023, ceasing new sales and feature development. Existing subscribers can continue using the application, but Adobe now directs users to Figma following its partnership agreement.

Balsamiq is a rapid wireframing tool that helps teams sketch user interfaces with a hand-drawn, low-fidelity style. It focuses on quick ideation and collaboration with a simple drag-and-drop editor and a library of pre-built UI components.
